Roses Are...Pink!
Evalie posed for some Valentine pictures this week. I love this little sweater and hat from her great grandma Dotty! But Evalie did not want to leave the hat on. She still gave us some fabulous smiles! Enjoy!!

Evalie's Favorite Things
As promised! These are a few of Evalie's favorite things.
1. Climbing! On Ev.er.y.thing. She likes to see how high she can get.
2. Her "friends." Every stuffed animal is her best friend and she can't live with out it. We go from room to room with anywhere from 3 to 7 animals. She tries to carry them all in one hand too. Just grabs an arm, and ear, a snout, anything she can get her tiny fingers around. Now don't get me wrong, she likes her actual human friends too. However she could care less about baby dolls. Go figure!
3. Frozen peas. Evie eats them by the handful, cannot get enough. I go through at least one bag of peas a week!
4. This one is hard to explain, but she is doing it now! She likes to hit our lamp in the living room. She climbs on the couch and taps the lampshade on the lamp next to the couch. Evie knows she is not supposed to do this, so she waits for us to go get her off the couch. Right before we get to her, she launches herself to the other side of the couch to get away. And I mean launches. She just throws herself up and and then down. I don't really know how else to describe it. The problem is, besides the blantant disobedience, she often launches herself too far and hits her head on the arm of the couch. OUCH!
5. Music! And I must say a "yea!" to this one. She has numerous toys that sing and play music. Evalie will go from toy to toy and turn them ALL on. And then she dances. Or twirls. And every time I turn on an actual cd, she gets this HUGE smile on her face. And then she dances. Or twirls.
Ok, I have more, but she is not cooperating (ie, still launching herself on the couch). So more next time!

These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things
I am a member of an online forum called Diaperswappers. It is a bunch of moms (and a couple of dads) that cloth diaper. I joined a swap on diaperswappers where we are trading a box full of our favorite things. I thought I would share with you all some of my favorite things.
1. Hot tea~green tea, chai, yummy!
2. Crunchy Clean~this is an all natural laundry detergent that works so well.
3. Baking Soda~so many uses.
4. Vinegar~so many uses. I don't use "normal" cleaners in the house, so baking soda and vinegar get used alot.
5. Peanut butter M & Ms~I'm eating some right now!!!
6. Saving money~I saved 45% on my grocery shopping bill tonight at Kroger! Coupons are awesome!!
6.5. Free Stuff!!!! ~see above! I got free orange juice tonight.
7. Thrift stores and resale shops~Goes with the saving money. You can find some treasures in the middle of all the junk. Last month I got a BRAND NEW dress for Evalie (tags and everything) at Goodwill for $1.45. The tag said it was a $50 dress. Now that was a treasure!
8. Scrapbooking~I haven't worked on my books in a loooooong time. I need to get on that!
9. Wrapping presents~I like being creative with gifts.
Some of my favorite things are things for Evalie, not for me.
10. Board books~Evie can "read" and I don't have to worry about the pages getting ripped.
11. Robeez~These are soft soled shoes. They are very good for baby's feet when they are learning to walk.
12. Baby bling~Nothing cuter than Evie with jewelry!
13. Baby Carriers~makes my life easier, and Evie loves to be carried.
