Well, it has been over two weeks since I have updated! I realize that this is bad. I know that you all want to see adorable pictures of our beautiful girl. And you should.
But you will once again have to wait. I got the camera ready to upload some pictures from the zoo (we went today), but I can't find the cord. So no new pictures today.
I will tell you some fun things about Miss Evalie:
Tooth #8 is finally emerging! It has been making it's way out for a while now, maybe a month.
Evalie took her first steps on Saturday!!! She is not "walking," yet. But she will take about 3 or 4 steps on her own before giving up, plopping on her bottom, and crawling to get to what she wants (usually Daddy).
Evie is definitely a Daddy's girl. I keep saying, if it weren't for the Momma Milk, Daddy and Evie would not need me. I usually say this in jest, but sometimes I think it is really true! Evie will often cling to Daddy so she doesn't have to go to me. Makes a Momma feel good, really good!
We love going to zoo. We go with Daddy, we go with friends. It's just fun. We enjoy the outdoors, the animals, the people. Evie doesn't really get into the animals, but she loves watching all the kids. Some of the bigger animals she will notice, but only if they are moving or really close.
Today we spent some time in the Manatee house, and the Manatees got really close to Evalie. (Well, through the glass) The Manatees are definitely big enough for Evie to notice. We also saw the Elephants taking a bath today, and a monkey eating it's own poop, but we won't go into that!
For those of you who live close, or if you want to make a trip(!), Evalie's birthday party (gasp!) will be Saturday, August 23rd. It is going to be a Big, Bang, Blowout, Birthday Bash! You definitely want to be there!
Hopefully I will find the camera adaptor cord soon so I can post pictures. And I will try to be better at posting more regularly (but I'm not promising anything!). For now, here's a picture from last week at the zoo (we really go alot!). I don't know what she was so excited about, but I'm guessing it was Daddy!

Walking already! Look out!
we love the zoo too - if you ever want to go with us, just let me know!
Sometimes when I go to pick up Maya at daycare she bursts into tears when I walk in the room. Yeah, that makes me feel good. I think daddies are fun because of the novelty. I'm sure that you're the only one she wants when its time for comfort and cuddles.
